Neither of you were sure what to say or do in this agitating situation. “They just couldn’t let us be without meddling in, huh.” “Don’t be ridiculous, you didn’t do anything wrong.” He hissed, still looking at his phone on the table. “Was it my fault?” you asked, but were soon cut off by his grip on your hand. It took him a good fifteen minutes to regain composure and process what just happened, his hand still in yours. You knew it isn’t a good situation to panic, so you took his hand gently, in hopes of calming him down at least a little bit. His furious expression never left his face, and now a cold sweat was starting to form. Not only is he going to have to go through so much interviews, but the press would be taking even more pictures of you both, wherever you went. But you felt Amai had it worse at the moment. “How did this happen? Why did it happen? Why did they have to be such annoying pests?” you kept thinking, your thoughts slowly getting overwhelming. You couldn’t even see the comments below from the screen trembling violently in Amai’s hand. “Exposed! The idol Sweet Mask shown to be in a relationship with an unknown man!” was the headline of a news article, and below it was a footage of you both, sitting in a restaurant a couple weeks ago. Before you could ask, your eyes shifted to the screen of his phone. You looked up at him for a second, wondering why he stopped mid-sentence only to see his face radiating with fury. “True,” he said, now taking a look at his phone, “the press isn’t a matter that should concern me so much-“ But I’m glad we’re together now at the very least, even if we have to be in this hotel room,” you voiced and smiled at your boyfriend, to which he pulled you closer to himself. If they were to find out The Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask himself was taken the paparazzi would go insane with annoying questions and interviews, something he didn’t want to deal with. Of course, you knew Amai didn’t do this out of shame, but rather because of the irksome press. It was troublesome and stressful, having to spend the time with your famous boyfriend in isolated places and if you went out you both had to wear disguises. It’s been a while since you and the idol started your relationship, and the entire time it was forced to stay out of the eyes of the public. You sighed and leaned on the soft material of the couch you were both sitting on. “They’re persistent idiots, it wouldn’t surprise me if there was still a line of them waiting outside.” “No, not yet.” He shifts in his seat and takes a glass of wine from the small table in front of you. “Do you think they’re gone?” you whisper to the man next to you, his bright, yellow eyes occasionally glancing at the door.
